It’s a powerful word.
STOP.
It gets a bad rap.
We tell our kids to stop over and over.
It means to discontinue.
What if all this time, that’s all we need to do.
Discontinue….or STOP.
Stop letting our time be controlled by others.
Stop going about our day haphazardly with no plan.
Stop agreeing to things that stress us out, overwhelm us, or burn us out.
Stop pushing off our own dreams.
Stop trading time for money.
So we can,
Stop and enjoy the life we want to live.
Stop and connect with a friend or loved one that we’ve been meaning to.
Stop for long enough to enjoy simple things like sunrises, and sunsets, a good meal, or the beautiful people that are around us.
Stop and smell the roses.
Stop and be grateful for another beautiful Sunday morning.
Stop reading and get out there and enjoy life today.
